The University of Okara has lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against students and a female drone camera operator for damaging the university’s reputation.

This action follows the circulation of a video on social media that purportedly shows immoral activities on the university’s rooftop.

The video, captured by a drone camera, depicts several students, including both a male and a female student, involved in explicit activities.

Following the video’s viral spread, the university administration acted quickly. An FIR was filed against a BS Zoology student, and the drone operators as well as several unidentified individuals.

The FIR claims that the individuals unlawfully entered the university, used a drone camera to record explicit videos, and then distributed the footage on social media.

According to the FIR submitted by Deputy Registrar Waqar Ahmad, the incident has damaged the university’s reputation and caused fear and panic among students and the community. The university’s administration has demanded the arrest of the accused to help restore the university’s dignity.

In response to the incident, the university has suspended its Public Relations Officer and Security Officer, and terminated the contracts of two daily wage employees.

The Deputy Registrar also confirmed that the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) office has begun an initial investigation, collecting information from university officials and staff.
