If you’re considering buying a new mobile phone, now might be the perfect time, as prices have dropped by up to 30% in Pakistan.
According to details, mobile phones prices have seen a sharp decline across the major cities of the country, including Lahore and Faisalabad. Market sources have revealed that the prices of flagship smartphones have decreased by up to Rs. 30,000.
The prices of phones that used to cost Rs.100,000 have declined to Rs.70,000. Furthermore, phones that were priced at Rs. 50,000 are now reportedly available for Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 38,000 in the local markets.

On the other hand, Pakistan’s mobile phone imports witnessed a massive increase of 156.43%, valued at $1.148 billion during the first eight months (July-Feb) of the FY2023-24 as compared to $447.854 million recorded in the same period of the previous year.
However, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics’ (PBS) data showed a 17.46% decline in imports in February 2024 compared to January 2024.
