CONNECTICUT: WWE Raw is gearing up for a historic shift as it debuts on Netflix on January 6.

After over three decades on regular television, this is a turning point for WWE. The next episode of Raw promises to be historical, with WWE pulling all the stops to make it a success.

Not only will the show be available online, but there will also be a number of top-notch returns of excitement surrounding its premiere.

WWE three-hour format

The January 6 event marks the moment that WWE Raw heralds its return to its original three-hour format, briefly leaving a two-hour broadcast switched on only for October.

The WWE premiere on Netflix could see Raw revert to its regular three-hour length. However, ongoing international broadcasting agreements and advertising deals may influence the decision.

WWE has teased appearances from major stars, with rapper Travis Scott set to debut new music as the official theme song for Raw. There is also speculation that Scott could perform live during the event, adding further excitement to the broadcast.

Star-studded lineup

The first episode will showcase great superstars such as WWE legends and current champions.

The tour will presumably go on for John Cena in his retirement, while rumors suggest that The Rock might make an appearance in some promo but not in the arena.

The show will feature top superstars such as CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Gunther, and Jey Uso, among numerous others.

The unattended roster of women is not going unnoticed as Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan are likely to come in. The most conspicuous thing is the rumored comeback of Becky Lynch.

Lynch’s fans are itching to see the woman return after her time off, and her involvement will make a huge difference in elevating the event.

The event will be filmed live from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, and WWE is determined to deliver compelling stories and high-octane action for its loyal audience.
