The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony (RA&IH) has announced job vacancies for the position of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) as part of its initiative to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen its workforce.

Ministry of Religious Affairs Job details

The ministry is inviting applications for one LDC position under BPS-11. Applicants must have completed their Matriculation and possess a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.

Furthermore, selected candidates will be required to undertake a three-week Basic IT Training Course, which includes MS Office training from the National Information Technology Board (NITB), before the conclusion of their probationary period.

This position is specifically reserved for candidates from Balochistan, with the age limit set between 18 to 25 years.

Application process

Interested candidates can apply online via the National Job Portal at https://njp.gov.pk within 15 days from the date of the advertisement. It is important to note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the subsequent test and interview process.

Current government employees must apply through the appropriate channels. Applicants are entitled to a five-year general relaxation in the upper age limit according to government regulations. Candidates must present original documents along with a set of attested copies of their degrees and certificates during the interview process.

The ministry has stressed that any provision of false information or forged documents will result in disqualification, even post-employment.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs reserves the right to modify the number of vacancies or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without providing reasons.

The written test will be conducted in Islamabad, Karachi, and Quetta, and candidates will not be reimbursed for travel or accommodation expenses incurred while attending the test or interview.
