Rakhi’s brother, Rakesh Sawant, confirmed her hospitalization. Her ex-husband, Ritesh Singh, revealed on social media that she underwent surgery to remove a tumor from her uterus.
Medical Update
Dr. Surabhi Kokate, Sawant’s gynecologist, confirmed the surgery to Times Now. She stated that her team is caring for Sawant but declined to disclose further details without the hospital’s permission. The surgery occurred at Dr. Kokate’s private clinic in Mumbai’s DN Nagar.
Rakhi’s Statement
Before the surgery, Rakhi informed the media about her condition. She revealed the presence of a 10 cm tumor in her uterus and expressed optimism for a quick recovery. “I will be fine soon. There is a 10 cm tumor, and I will be operated on Saturday. I am not able to talk much, but Ritesh will keep you updated,” she said.
Rakhi’s Determination
Praising her doctors, Rakhi added, “Doctors are the best here, and they are doing their job perfectly. I’ve never given up on life and have fought many obstacles and battles since childhood. I am going to fight in the operation theatre as well. I know nothing is going to happen to me, as I’ve got my mother’s blessings with me, she’s there with me. I am a fighter, and I’ll come back, nothing will happen to me. Chota sa tumor hi toh hai, nikal jayega. I’ll come back and dance and sing. I’ll entertain people again.”

Surgery Success and Threatening Calls
Ritesh Singh shared a video from the hospital showing Rakhi in a wheelchair before her surgery. He later confirmed the surgery’s success and that the tumor had been sent for biopsy. Amid her health issues, Rakhi has also been receiving threatening calls. Ritesh confirmed these threats to the media. Sawant’s lawyer, Falguni Brahmbhatt, shared additional details with ETimes, revealing that some individuals have called to threaten and intimidate her.
