The Multan Development Authority (MDA) has taken firm action against illegal housing schemes in the city by registering 148 cases against the owners of 196 unauthorized societies. The crackdown was launched across various zones of Multan, with 130 societies identified in the North Zone and 66 in the South Zone.
These housing schemes were found to be selling plots and files without proper approval from the authorities and violating multiple regulations. The MDA emphasized the importance of citizens verifying the status of housing projects before investing to avoid potential losses.
