Solar panel prices see massive drop across Pakistan

The prices of solar panels have dropped significantly, providing relief to consumers looking to invest in renewable energy. This reduction applies to systems ranging from 5 to 15 kilowatts.

The cost of a 5-kilowatt solar system has now been lowered to Rs650,000, while a 7-kilowatt system is priced at Rs725,000. For those requiring larger setups, a 10-kilowatt system is now available for Rs950,000, and a 12-kilowatt system can be purchased for Rs1.1 million.

The price of a 15-kilowatt system has seen the largest decrease, now being offered at Rs1.25 million.

These rates apply to on-grid systems, which are connected to the main electricity grid. However, those opting for hybrid systems that store energy in batteries will face additional costs for the batteries.
