The Punjab Health Department has introduced a new rotation policy for postgraduate training. This policy will bring significant changes to the schedules and locations where trainee doctors will undergo their training.

Under the new policy, postgraduate trainees (PG trainees) from government hospitals must now complete all their rotations at the same institute.

Furthermore, PG trainees are required to complete their rotations at the nearest government hospital. The new policy from the Department of Specialized Healthcare strictly forbids rotations in hospitals located in other cities.

The policy also prohibits postgraduate trainees from private hospitals from rotating through government hospitals. This rule is meant to keep private and public healthcare training separate and make sure government resources are used mainly for public hospital trainees.

The policy requires that all current agreements between public hospitals and private institutions about trainee rotations be canceled.

This change is meant to make the training process more organized and prevent any misuse of training opportunities and resources. According to the new policy, any breaches or violations will lead to disciplinary measures.
