By The provincial government of Punjab has decided to send competent and hardworking students of the province to pursue higher education in top global universities.
According to details, the provincial government has decided to launch the ‘Punjab Chief Minister International Scholarship Programme’. Officials revealed that a budget of Rs. 26 billion will be allocated for the program.
They added that under this program, the Punjab government will be offering Masters and PhD scholarships to students at the top foreign universities. The officials further stated that the program will commence formally in the upcoming financial year (FY), with a budget allocation of Rs5 billion earmarked for the purpose.
On the other hand, the Government of Japan recently announced its MEXT Scholarships 2025 for Pakistan students. These scholarships can be availed by both Undergraduate and graduate students. Applications for the MEXT undergraduate and Research Scholarships (Masters, PhD) 2025 are now being accepted by the Embassy of Japan.

The fully funded MEXT scholarships offer Pakistani students the opportunity to study abroad in Japan. The last date to apply for these scholarships is May 17, 2024.
