Pakistani female actor Resham wants people to join her at Liberty Lahore to show solidarity with the Pakistani army on the anniversary of May 9. Resham in a video message said that she strongly condemn the attak on millitary istallations of Pakistan.

In an effort to commemorate the first anniversary of the May 9 violence, which primarily targeted military installations and monuments dedicated to martyrs, the government has resolved to observe the day in solidarity with the fallen soldiers and their bereaved families.

Meanwhile, the PTI, facing a crackdown following the unrest, has outlined plans to hold rallies nationwide in support of its imprisoned leader, former PM Imran Khan. To preempt the PTI’s demonstrations, authorities in Islamabad and Punjab have implemented Section 144.
