The Islamabad power show of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was postponed after the No Objection Certificate (NOC) was cancelled by the Islamabad Chief Commissioner just a day before the scheduled event.
PTI chairman, Barrister Gohar, told he media that the party received approval for the power show four months after requesting the NOC. However, the commissioner unexpectedly revoked it.

Gohar emphasised that the commissioner lacks the authority to suspend the NOC.
In response, PTI has approached the Islamabad High Court to contest the suspension.
A hearing is expected on Monday, as the Chief Justice is currently unavailable due to the weekend. Gohar expressed confidence that the court will hear their plea and grant permission for the power show to proceed.
