The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announces a nationwide protest on Friday against the government’s proposed constitutional amendment.
The statement highlighted that the protests will be held after Friday prayers across district headquarters and will remain peaceful.
PTI also demanded the immediate restoration of fundamental rights for Imran Khan, including access to his family, lawyers, and party leaders. The committee called on all regional and local organisations to mobilise peaceful protests to defend the supremacy of the Constitution.

Additionally, PTI urged all sectors of society who believe in the rule of law to join the demonstrations. The committee also agreed to make every possible effort to block the amendment in both houses of Parliament.
A key demand from the meeting was the immediate release of PTI’s founding chairman Imran Khan’s sisters, Aleema Khanum and Uzma Khanum. PTI further stressed the release of other party leaders and members, including advocate Intizar Hussain Panjotha, Azam Swati, and the president of PTI Balochistan.
