Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Raoof Hasan announced on Sunday that his party aims to engage in talks with the military, highlighting that such negotiations would benefit the state.

Hasan asserted, “We want all institutions to operate within their designated boundaries.” He criticised the government, claiming, “No positive outcome will come from negotiating with the current administration.”

Moreover, PTI senior leader Ali Muhammad Khan accused the incumbent government of pursuing its “political objectives” by seeking a two-thirds majority.

Furthermore, Khan alleged that the government is attempting to align with JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who has recently gained prominence. Reflecting on past conflicts, Khan noted, “We previously opposed Rehman’s alliances with Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif, but now he is aligned with us.”
