A police spokesman reported that Hasan was attacked as he exited the TV channel’s office after participating in a program. He was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, where the police also arrived to obtain a medico-legal certificate.
During a press conference in Islamabad, PTI leader Omar Ayub accused the police of tampering with the FIR, claiming it did not accurately reflect Hasan’s written complaint. Ayub stated that the party rejected the FIR and called for a judicial commission to investigate the incident.
