In response to the forecast, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued an alert for the affected districts. They have instructed deputy commissioners to stay alert and ensure that all relevant departments are prepared to manage any emergencies that may arise.

The PDMA has also warned of high to very high flood levels in hilly areas, citing increased water flow due to ongoing rain in the Mount Suleiman region.

The Dera Ghazi Khan administration has been instructed to set up emergency control rooms and keep Rescue 1122 disaster response teams on high alert.
