By Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a 20 percent discount for Pakistani students traveling from China to Pakistan.
According to an official of the airline, the national flag carrier has also raised the baggage allowance to 60 kilograms. Currently, PIA is operating one weekly flight on the Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad route, scheduled every Sunday.
Students who have recently completed their degrees or are looking to spend their summer holidays in Pakistan can take advantage of this offer from Pakistan International Airlines.
Speaking to APP, Ali Imran, a Pakistani researcher, said that a large number of Pakistani students are currently studying in various cities in China. He added that the discount offered by PIA would greatly benefit them, allowing them to enjoy both reduced fares and increased baggage allowance.

On the other hand, Privatisation Minister Aleem Khan told the Upper House of the Parliament that the PIA bidding process would be “aired live.” He further revealed that only 18 PIA aircraft are operational at the moment.
“If more employees are hired on the basis of only 18 aircraft, then what would be the result? There are 10,000 PIA employees and only 18 aircraft,” he added.
