The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the prize money for the Champions One-Day Cup, which kicks off today at Iqbal Stadium. The winning team will receive PKR 30 million, while the runners-up will earn PKR 15 million.
The tournament, featuring five teams, will run from September 12 to 29. The opening match sees Mohammad Rizwan’s Markhors (formerly Wolves) take on Shadab Khan’s Panthers. The final is set for September 29.

Top cricketers from across the country will participate in this 50-over competition. Teams will be coached by legends like Misbah-ul-Haq (Markhors), Saqlain Mushtaq (Panthers), Sarfaraz Ahmed (Dolphins), Shoaib Malik (Stallions), and Waqar Younis (Lions).
Matches, except for the Lions-Panthers game on September 16, which begins at 9:30 a.m., will start at 3 p.m.
The tournament will follow a single-league format, with the top teams battling in qualifiers and eliminators leading up to the final.
