Saudi oil giant Aramco is set to introduce its first branded petrol pump in Pakistan by the end of this year. This development follows Aramco’s acquisition of a 40% stake in Gas & Oil Pakistan Ltd. (GO) in May.

GO is one of Pakistan’s largest companies involved in the storage, sale, and marketing of petroleum products and lubricants. Aramco, a leading global energy company, produces nearly one-eighth of the world’s oil supply.

In an emailed statement, the company confirmed, “We are working to launch our first Aramco-branded petrol pump in Pakistan by year’s end. More details will be shared once the site is ready.”

This marks Aramco’s first venture into Pakistan’s downstream retail market. Earlier this year, Aramco also acquired full ownership of Esmax Distribución SpA, a fuels and lubricants retailer in Chile.

Yasser Mufti, Aramco’s Executive Vice President, expressed optimism about the GO partnership, stating, “We look forward to providing Aramco’s quality products and services to customers in Pakistan, and growing our global network through this strategic collaboration.”
