Pakistani musician Haniya Aslam, who was in her 40s, has passed away.

The cause of her death is currently unknown.

Haniya Aslam first gained recognition in 2007 as a member of the acclaimed group Zeb and Haniya, alongside her cousin, Zebunnisa Bangash.

In 2014, she moved to Canada to pursue a solo career, achieving notable success, including her 2018 performance of “Main Irada” on Coke Studio.

The music community mourns her loss deeply. Director Yasir Jaswal also posted about her.

Haniya Aslam’s contributions to music have left an enduring legacy, and she will be remembered with great respect and admiration.
