Pakistani cricketer Wasim Jr. gets married [Pictures]

Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Wasim Jr. recently celebrated his marriage in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The cricketer shared the joyous occasion on Instagram, posting photos from the nikkah ceremony.

Among the images, one showed the couple holding hands and another captured them inside the Grand Mosque of Makkah.

Fans quickly flooded the comments with congratulatory messages, expressing their best wishes for the newlyweds’ future.

Hailing from North Waziristan, Wasim Jr. has made a mark in domestic cricket. He played for the Quetta Gladiators in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he took nine wickets in eight matches, maintaining an average of 33 and an economy rate of 9.90.

However, he did not make the cut for Pakistan’s T20 World Cup 2024 squad, with selectors favoring Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, and Mohammad Amir.

Currently, Wasim Jr. is recovering from a back injury sustained during a domestic tournament. He is undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore, focusing on his recovery and return to cricket.
