The City Traffic Police Rawalpindi has announced a detailed traffic plan, including diversions, to minimize disruption during the Pakistan vs. Bangladesh second cricket test match. The match is scheduled from August 30 to September 3 at the Double Road Cricket Stadium.
A total of 367 traffic officers and personnel, including 8 DSPs, 40 Inspectors, and over 318 traffic wardens, will be on special duty to ensure smooth traffic flow throughout the match.

Authorities have implemented special traffic arrangements to manage the flow during the cricket teams’ movements. Parking facilities have been set up at five locations, and a shuttle service will be provided by the district administration.
Murree Road will be entirely closed from Faizabad to Double Road during the teams’ arrival and departure to maintain smooth traffic flow.
Traffic diversions have been arranged for the upcoming cricket match in Rawalpindi. Vehicles from Islamabad will be diverted from Faizabad to the Expressway, while traffic heading from Rawalpindi to Islamabad will be rerouted via 6th Road and Syedpur Road.
Furthermore, traffic from Ghousia Chowk will be redirected through Farooq Azam Road and Kari Road.
