LAHORE: A mysterious incident occurred outside the main entrance of Jati Umra, a prominent location when an unidentified individual discarded a suspicious object, described as a ‘time device,’ from a moving vehicle before fleeing the scene.
According to some eyewitnesses, the device was strangely bound to a small replica of a lion toy. Reports indicate that the suspect tried to offer this strange ‘gift’ to security personnel stationed at the main gate demanding to take it inside when not to attempt to enter the premises.
The heavy police force was then dispatched to the area, where they immediately called in the bomb disposal squad and sealed off the surrounding roads to traffic as a precautionary measure. Following inspection, however, bomb disposal experts confirmed that the so-called ‘time device’ was indeed a toy, therefore reducing immediate concerns of threat.
The incident is under investigation by authorities and efforts are being made to find the person responsible for this unusual act. Further updates will be given as the situation unfolds.
