The Rawalpindi Development Authority Enforcement Squad executed a targeted operation in Bahria Town Phase-VIII, leading to the sealing of illegal commercial properties.

Under the direction of Director General Kinza Murtaza, the RDA shut down the Amlairz Premium Hyper Market Plaza and Triple-A Heights, located on Plot No. 11 on Lake View Road.

Moreover, the operation, involving the Assistant Director of Building Control, Building Inspectors, and other officials, was prompted by the property owners—Azeem Shahid, Abid Shahid, and Fawad Bashir—violating approved building plans and maps.

Despite previous warnings from the RDA, these owners continued to construct unauthorized commercial buildings without the required approvals or No Objection Certificates (NOCs), breaching the Punjab Development of Cities Act 1976 and the RDA Building and Zoning Regulations 2021.

Furthermore, the Director General instructed the Land Use & Building Control (LU&BC) Wing to enforce strict measures against encroachments, unauthorized constructions, and illegal commercial activities.
