PUNJAB: The Punjab Education Department has announced winter vacations for schools across Punjab.
According to Punjab Secretary of Schools, Khalid Nazir Wattoo, all schools will remain closed for 20 days, from December 20, 2024, to January 10, 2025.
Students and staff will resume regular academic activities after the winter break.
All the educational institutions in Punjab were reopened on November 20 after the smog holidays as the smog condition improved. This decision was taken after the improvement in the air quality in Punjab.
