RAWALPINDI: Punjab police on Tuesday arrested and relased five Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including Omar Ayub Khan, Shibli Faraz, Asad Qaiser, and Sahibzada Hamid Raza, outside Adiala Jail while they were there to visit Imran Khan.

The leaders reached Adiala Jail to meet Imran Khan after Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday directed the Superintendent of Adiala Jail to arrange a meeting of party leaders with the founder PTI.

A video shared by PTI showed Ayub sitting in the backseat of a white Toyota Corolla under heavy security, while Raza was seen being escorted away by uniformed personnel. A police van was also visible, parked on the opposite side of the road.
