Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has suspended all flights using Iranian airspace in response to the recent escalation of tensions involving Iran and Israel.

PIA issued directives to all pilots and flight operations, mandating the avoidance of Iranian airspace until further notice.

The airline’s spokesperson confirmed that all flight plans are being revised to ensure compliance, with a clear focus on safety.

Furthermore, PIA utilises two main corridors over Iran: the Northern Corridor for flights heading to Canada and Turkey, and the Southern Corridor for destinations including the UAE, Bahrain, Doha, and Saudi Arabia.

Flights will remain rerouted as long as the situation remains uncertain
