SHEIKHUPURA: A man, along with his friends, in Shekhupura, murdered his cousin Yaseen, the only son of his parents, by shooting him and then cutting off his thumb to withdraw Rs1 million from an ATM.
Yaseen was a resident of Faisalabad and his body was found in a car parked in the street when the suspects were on their way to dump his dead body in a canal.
The police also recovered the victim’s severed thumb, which the suspects intended to use to withdraw more money from the ATM.
Police used advanced technology and human intelligence to apprehend the accused, along with two accomplices.
A case was registered by the police at the Housing Colony Police Station on the mother’s complaint, and further investigations are underway.
The police said that the accused, along with his friends, killed his cousin and then used his thumb to withdraw money from the ATM.
