Senator Faisal Vawda claimed that members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) themselves have planned to eliminate the party’s founder.
At a press conference in Karachi, he claimed, “Imran Khan will be convicted in the £190 million case.”
Appealing to PTI members, Vawda said, “For God’s sake, spare Imran Khan and have mercy on him. We all learnt politics from him. None of us, including myself, is a leader.”
Senator Vawda described the £190 million case as an “open-and-shut case,” saying, “If a crime has been committed, punishment is inevitable. When the PTI founder signed the Al-Qadir Trust documents, I warned him that it was a NAB case.”
Earlier, Senior jounalist Javed Chaudhry claimed that Imran Khan could face setback in £190 million case.
It is pertinent to mention that the verdict of this case will be announced tomorrow (January 13th).
Faisal Vawda further said, “We learned politics from the PTI founder and are in Parliament today because of him. Unfortunately, a good leader was ruined after falling under the influence of others. I repeatedly told the PTI founder that his ‘associates’ wanted to keep him in jail and even have him eliminated.”
Regarding negotiations, the senator said, “The government and PTI are playing a game of hide-and-seek in the name of talks. I support negotiations, but they should be meaningful.”
In response to a question, Vawda remarked, “The PTI founder is no longer my leader. Those who consider him their leader should now pray for his safety. I still view Imran Khan as a good leader because credit should be given if the commander is good. However, today, PTI leaders are involved in conspiracies against their founder.”
