WEB DESK: The Green Line Express, traveling from Islamabad to Karachi, was halted at Padidan Railway Station on Thursday due to a technical fault in its engine.

According to railway sources, the train encountered the issue during its journey, leading to its unscheduled stop at the station. A technical team was immediately called to address the problem and carry out repairs on the engine.

Railway staff at Padidan Railway Station is actively working to fix the fault and ensure the train can resume its journey safely. Passengers onboard have been informed about the situation, and authorities are making efforts to minimise delays.

The Green Line Express is one of Pakistan’s premium trains, and such incidents highlight the importance of regular maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
