A Saudi Airlines plane caught fire at Peshawar airport on Thursday. The fire broke out in the landing gear, prompting an immediate evacuation. All 276 passengers and 21 crew members safely exited the aircraft using inflatable slides.

The flight was traveling from Peshawar to Riyadh. Emergency responders quickly put out the flames, and no injuries were reported. The fire reportedly started as the plane was landing.

In a separate incident earlier today, a Colombo-bound flight had to make an emergency landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. The flight, which originated in Dubai, diverted to Karachi after a passenger suffered a heart attack.

The pilot received permission for an emergency landing, but unfortunately, the passenger was declared dead upon arrival by the medical team.
