The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced the implementation of a new “efficient, fast, and cost-effective e-office system,” set to be operational from Monday, September 2.
Moreover, this initiative, directed by CDA Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa, mandates that all directorates fully adopt the system to improve administrative processes and promote a paperless work environment.
In a notification issued on Friday, the CDA highlighted that all directorates must complete necessary preparations, including staff training and infrastructure setup, ahead of the deadline.
In addition, the authority has warned that any non-compliance will result in strict disciplinary action under its rules.

Chairman Randhawa highlighted that the e-office system would ensure greater effectiveness and transparency in CDA operations by allowing the movement of files and timelines to be monitored through a digital dashboard, thereby reducing delays and preventing unwarranted objections.
Additionally, the CDA is in the process of launching the “My Islamabad” app, currently undergoing a test run, which is expected to be fully operational soon.
Furthermore, the app will enable citizens to access a range of services from 64 CDA directorates, including property taxes, water charges, and certificates for births and deaths, as well as the ability to file complaints and pay fees online.
