The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Director General announced on Friday that a new period of rainfall is expected across Pakistan from September 2 to September 5.
Moreover, Director General Mahr Sahibzad Khan noted that this upcoming weather pattern is categorized as post-monsoon, which generally results in reduced rainfall.

Currently, the monsoon is “quite intense,” he added, with a cyclone having formed in the sea near Karachi on Thursday.
Moreover, rainfall is anticipated in various parts of Sindh today, with the effects likely extending to Balochistan and southern Punjab.
Furthermore, khan also mentioned that the country might experience one to two additional spells of rain in the near future.
