The University of Health Sciences (UHS) will release the results of the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024 by Sunday, September 29, according to a university spokesperson.
The results, conducted for admission into medical and dental colleges across Punjab, will be published on the official UHS website within a week of the exam.
The MDCAT 2024, overseen by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), saw participation from 58,379 candidates in Punjab this year. The test included 40,363 female and 18,016 male students, making it a critical step for aspiring doctors and dentists.

Seats and centers for competitive exam
In Punjab, there are 3,376 MBBS seats available in 16 public medical colleges, and 240 BDS seats in three public dental colleges. The MDCAT, a three-and-a-half-hour exam, was held at 26 centers spread across 12 major cities in the province, including Lahore, where the highest number of candidates appeared.
In Lahore alone, 11,735 female and 4,655 male students took the exam at various centers, such as COMSATS University on Defence Road, Punjab University’s Exam Halls on Wahdat Road, and Government Graduate College for Women in Gulberg.
