Recent rumors circulating on social media and WhatsApp groups regarding the health and status of Major General Faisal Naseer, the Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), have been categorically dismissed as false and unfounded.

For several days, misleading information has been spread, claiming that Major General Faisal Naseer is seriously ill and has been receiving treatment at a hospital in Islamabad. Some reports suggested that he has been transferred abroad with his family for further treatment and that he is suffering from a mysterious illness, which has allegedly delayed his new posting.

Sources confirm that these claims are entirely untrue. Major General Naseer is reported to be in good health and continues to perform his duties in his current role without any issues. The rumors about his illness and overseas travel are described as baseless and part of a deliberate misinformation campaign.

Furthermore, it was emphasised that appointments within the military are the prerogative of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS). The COAS has the authority to assign officers to various positions as deemed appropriate, and therefore, any speculation regarding delays or changes in Major General Naseer’s posting is also unfounded.
