Ananya, known for films like CTRL, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, and Gehraiyaan, said the negativity she encountered in her first year in Bollywood made it difficult to focus. “People’s opinions got into my head, and I didn’t feel like going to film sets anymore,” she said.
With support from her family, she turned to therapy, which helped her process her emotions and regain clarity. “Therapy allowed me to consolidate my feelings and articulate my thoughts better,” she added.

Social media affected Ananya
The actress highlighted how social media can create insecurities, particularly about body image and life comparisons. “Nobody posts their failures on Instagram, and you end up comparing yourself to others who seem to have perfect lives,” she explained.
Although she still has days when she feels less confident, Ananya focuses on facing her challenges and practicing self-compassion. “As an actor, I think it’s important to talk about these issues so people know they’re not alone,” she said.
