The parents of the late popular Indian singer and rapper Sidhu Moosewala recently shared the first photo of their eight-month-old son, Shubhdeep.

They posted the image on their official Instagram account, showing baby Shubhdeep with a heartwarming smile, sitting in the lap of his father, Balkaur Singh, while his mother, Charan Kaur, sits beside them.

The parents accompanied the family photo with a heartfelt caption in Punjabi, expressing deep emotions. They wrote that their son’s eyes hold a unique depth, understanding every reality of their lives. His innocent face carries a precious glow, reminding them of the face they tearfully entrusted to God, now returned to them in a small form.

Fans and followers reacted warmly to the post, with some commenting on the resemblance between Shubhdeep and his late brother, Sidhu. Many noted that “Sidhu is back,” and others commented that “the little Sidhu looks just like his big brother.”

Sidhu Moosewala’s parents welcomed Shubhdeep on March 17, 2024, nearly a year after the tragic passing of Sidhu Moosewala.

Sidhu Moosewala often hailed as the ‘King of the Punjabi music industry’ and the ‘Heartthrob of Young Hearts’, born Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was brutally murdered on May 29, 2022, in Jawaharke village, Mansa district. The attack, involving over 30 bullets, left the music world and his fans in shock.

Lawrence Bishnoi, a notorious mobster, was later identified as the mastermind behind the murder. Moosewala, also a political activist, ran unsuccessfully for office in Mansa on a Congress ticket. He had long been a target of Bishnoi’s anger.

Despite numerous arrests, Indian police have yet to apprehend and prosecute the perpetrators. In memory of Sidhu Moosewala, his family organized a special ceremony to honor him.
