WEB DESK: Preity Zinta, acclaimed actress and beloved figure in the film industry, has wrapped up filming for her role in the highly anticipated movie “Lahore 1947.” Following her recent captivating appearance at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, Zinta returned to conclude shooting for her part in the upcoming film.

In a recent video shared by the actress, she offered her fans a glimpse into the celebration marking the completion of her character’s journey. Expressing her gratitude, Zinta extended her thanks to co-star Sunny Deol, director Rajkumar Santoshi, producer Aamir Khan, and others involved in the project.

“It’s a wrap on Lahore 1947 & I couldn’t be more grateful to the entire cast n crew for such an incredible experience,” Zinta wrote alongside the video. “It’s definitely the toughest film I have worked on. Full marks to everyone for all their hard work & patience during the last couple of months.”

Rajkumar Santoshi, in a previous statement, highlighted the significance of Zinta’s role in the film, stating, “After a long time, Preity Zinta is again playing a very important role for the silver screen with Lahore 1947.”

Produced by Aamir Khan, “Lahore 1947” features Sunny Deol in a leading role, accompanied by acclaimed actors such as Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, and Abhimanyu Singh. The film also marks a reunion for Zinta and Deol on the big screen after their last collaboration in the 2018 comedy film “Bhaiaji Superhit.”

Zinta’s return to the silver screen with “Lahore 1947” has generated significant anticipation among her fans and cinephiles alike, eager to witness her portrayal in this challenging and pivotal role.
