Lady Gaga’s ‘Chromatica Ball’ HBO concert special set to wow audiences

LOS ANGELES: HBO (Home Box Office) is set to dazzle viewers with an electrifying HBO concert special featuring Lady Gaga’s 2022 “Chromatica Ball” tour, premiering on Saturday, May 25 at 8 pm ET/PT and available for streaming on Max.

Filmed before a sold-out audience of 52,000 at Los Angeles’s Dodger Stadium in September 2022, the special showcases the Grammy and Oscar-winning artist delivering unforgettable performances of her iconic hits, including “Bad Romance,” “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” “Shallow,” “Rain On Me,” and “Stupid Love,” among others.

Lady Gaga takes the reins as producer, director, and creator of the special, with executive producers including her longtime manager Bobby Campbell, Live Nation touring chief Arthur Fogel, and Interscope Records’ John Janick and Steve Berman.

Nina Rosenstein, HBO’s executive VP of programming, late night & specials, expressed excitement about partnering with Lady Gaga once again, stating, “Lady Gaga is a complete powerhouse. She’s a once-in-a-lifetime artist who never holds back, and ‘Gaga Chromatica Ball’ puts her endless list of talents on full display. We’re thrilled to partner with her once again for this breathtaking concert special.”

The concert took place amidst the early stages of the pandemic’s decline and celebrated Gaga’s 2020 album “Chromatica” — a dance-party album released during a time when gatherings were limited, and dancing mainly occurred at home.
