The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet has approved a minimum wage increase to Rs36,000 per month and the creation of 791 new police positions in Tank and Lakki Marwat to strengthen local law enforcement.
The provincial cabinet also authorized the addition of 16 prosecutor positions in the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) to handle terrorism cases more effectively. Furthermore, the purchase of 10 armored vehicles for the police has been approved to enhance security operations.

It also green-lit the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Registration of Brick Kilns Bill 2024. The bill aims to create a robust regulatory framework for the registration and management of brick kilns in the province.
The cabinet granted approval to the the organisation of Rahmatul Alameen conferences at provincial, divisional, and district levels, featuring recitation and naat competitions and sessions on the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Moreover, a draft law was approved to address issues and complaints of overseas Pakistanis and their families.
