Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday visited the under-construction technology park in Islamabad to review the progress of the ongoing construction and stated that the Information Technology (IT) Park will create 10,000 job opportunities.

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif mentioned that the estimated cost of the IT Park is Rs25 billion.

Shehbaz Sharif stated that the IT Park will serve as a role model in the region. The park will feature 120 offices and a Business Support Center will also be established within the IT Park.

He said that the park will maintain close contact with educational institutions and experts, and a rest house will also be built within the IT Park. The IT Park will create 10,000 job opportunities.

He added that the Islamabad Technology Park will be Pakistan’s first Category 3 technology park to meet international standards.
