By Karachi: Pakistani journalist Mona Khan has been detained by the police in Greece, according to sources.
Mona Khan had traveled to Greece for a hiking trip. Her mobile phone has been confiscated by Greek authorities, as reported by Coach Yousuf. He noted that his last contact with her was an hour before the incident.
Mona Khan left her son in Athens before embarking on the hike. She is an anchorperson for state television and had traveled abroad with her son.

Mona Khan has alleged that Greek police mistreated her. She stated that all the hikers had gathered together, and when she displayed the Pakistani flag, the police detained her. In the audio recording, she mentioned being asked if she intended to wave the Pakistani flag, to which she responded affirmatively.
Coach Yousuf has called on the government to take action for her release.
