KARACHI: The extreme heat in Karachi has severely impacted the health of 200 mourners, according to Dr. Shahid Rasool, Executive Director of Jinnah Hospital.

By 1 PM, Jinnah Hospital had received 200 cases of individuals suffering from heat-related conditions. These affected mourners have received initial medical aid at the hospital’s dedicated camp.

Dr. Rasool emphasized the importance of precautions during the heatwave, advising citizens to consume cold beverages and cover their heads with wet towels when venturing outside to mitigate the effects of the extreme heat.
