KARACHI: The price of gold in Pakistan saw an increase, with the price per tola rising by Rs500, now standing at Rs275,700.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 gramme of gold increased by Rs1,428, now standing at Rs236,368.
In the international market, gold prices also experienced a rise, with a $5 increase bringing the rate to $2,645 per ounce.
It is worth noting that gold prices remained stable on Wednesday as investors focused on upcoming labor data from the United States and comments from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell that may provide extra insight into the future path of monetary policy for the central bank.
