Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari strongly criticised both the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for targeting political opponents, following the recent arrest of PTI lawmakers.
Speaking in the National Assembly, Bilawal warned against retaliatory politics, stressing the importance of respecting parliamentary processes.

He highlighted the need for cooperation within parliament despite differences, urging PTI legislators to engage in legal battles on merit instead of boycotting assemblies. Bilawal reiterated his party’s stance on respecting the Constitution and criticised PTI’s confrontational approach.
The National Assembly also adopted a resolution to form a committee addressing recent political tensions and arrests. Bilawal called for a unified political approach, urging Speaker Ayaz Sadiq to restore parliamentary functionality across the country.
