The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has introduced a cash reward system for citizens who confidentially report tax fraud, aiming to curb evasion across the province.

Moreover, legal regulations supporting this initiative are nearing finalisation, and the policy is set to be implemented soon.

In addition, advisor to the Chief Minister on Finance, Muzammil Aslam, revealed the plan during his visit to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), emphasising strict action against tax offenders based on public reports. The amount of the reward will be determined shortly.

Furthermore, the Director General of KPRA, Fouzia Iqbal, presented revenue collection figures, showing a significant 45% increase over the same period last year, with Rs. 7.17 billion collected in the first two months of FY 2024-25.
