Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has extended the admission deadline for the second phase of its Autumn 2024 semester.
According to the AIOU Director of Admissions Syed Zia-ul-Hasnain Naqvi, students now have until November 5 to apply for the admissions. It is pertinent to note that the extension applies to new students who will be subject to late fee charges. Previously, the deadline was set for October 15.

AIOU admission extention
Current students still have until October 22 to complete their enrollment for programs such as Associate Degrees, Bachelor of Science (BS), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and Post-Graduate Diplomas. Admission forms and prospectuses can be accessed on the university’s official website.
AIOU’s inclusive, open-door policy allows students of all ages, genders, and regions to apply, embracing the philosophy of “Education at People’s Doorstep.” AIOU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Nasir Mahmood expressed optimism that aspiring students will take advantage of the extension and secure their admissions before the final deadline
