Islamabad High Court (IHC) has dismissed Bushra Begum’s petition expressing concerns about potential poisoning while in custody. Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb noted that there were no indications of poisoning affecting Bushra Bibi.

During the hearing regarding Bushra Bibi’s request for a medical examination due to fears of poisoning, Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb sought clarification on whether Bushra Bibi had undergone tests and if she was in good health.

State Counsel Abdul Rahman informed the court that Bushra Bibi had undergone tests at Shifa Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Asim Yusuf. According to the report, Bushra Bibi’s health was declared to be completely normal.

Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb questioned whether the test reports revealed any signs of poisoning, to which the State Council responded that no traces of poison were detected.

The attorney informed the court that Bushra Bibi wishes to personally appear before the court and submit a statement.

The High Court concluded the petition for a medical examination of PTI founder Bushra Bibi, prompted by concerns of potential poisoning.
