WEB DESK: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas revealed on Friday in a press conference that party workers lost their lives during the November 24 protest.
He said according to the data gathered, two workers from Abbottabad and Charsadda lost their lives, along with one individual each from Shangla, Mardan, Kotli, Sattian, Islamabad, and DG Khan. Additionally, one each from Pashin and Haripur has been martyred so far.
He said that the current government has crossed the limits of fascism, shots were fired at innocent protesters, and journalists who were telling the truth were also picked up and threatened. Everything is clear in the coverage of the international media, the BBC and the Guardian.
Sheikh Waqs Akram said that the government lied and that not a single shot was fired, sometimes they said that the protesters were moving towards the red zone, which is why they fired shots.
He remarked that the state is akin to a mother, yet this very mother has turned against its children. He questioned how the current Prime Minister could face the nation under such circumstances.
