KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan saw an increase on Monday in line with their rise in international rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola gained Rs 2,500, clocking in at Rs 269,900.
Similarly, 10 grams of 24-karat gold are now priced at Rs. 231,396, marking a rise of Rs. 2,144. The international gold rate also saw a $25 increase, reaching $2,587 per ounce.
Silver prices remained unchanged at Rs. 3,250 per tola.
The reports said that a surge reflects ongoing fluctuations in the global market and local demand dynamics.
