Famous morning show host Nida Yasir has said that her husband Yasir Nawaz has not given their 15-year-old daughter permission to make reels on social media.
During Nida Yasir’s morning show “Good Morning Pakistan,” a participant expressed her concerns about her daughter, stating, “My daughter is very fond of making Instagram Reels and spends so much time on social media that she has stopped focusing on her studies. Whenever I try to intervene, she responds rudely.”
In response, Nida Yasir said, “My daughter is over 15 years old, but she still doesn’t have permission from her father to make Instagram Reels, even though we are part of the showbiz industry, and it’s generally assumed that people from this industry are liberal.”
She added, “Even though we belong to the showbiz industry, we have still not allowed our daughter to use social media in such a way.”
Nida Yasir advised the woman, saying that children should not be given too much freedom at a young age; it’s necessary to impose some restrictions, especially since her daughter is only 15 years old. She further suggested that the woman should ask her husband to be stricter with their daughter, as in such situations, a father’s firmness is often needed.
